PlacerArts Open Studios Tour
It’s almost here again. Mark your calendar for the weekend of November 11, 12 & 13th for the 23rd annual tour. This is a great opportunity to spend the weekend touring Placer County and all the wonderful artists and the various mediums. There will be painters, jewelers, wood, glass and metal sculptors, fiber artists, etc. This is a self-guided driving tour of Placer County studios and galleries; Roseville, Lincoln and Granite Bay to Auburn to Colfax and everywhere in between. I’ll be showing my scenic pastel landscapes, alongside my fellow pastel artist, Barbara Reed. We invite you to come out, visit with us and see what we’ve been up to. Membership Medley Exhibit
I recently just became a member of the Blueline Art Gallery and have one of my pieces, “Scottsbluff at Dusk – Nebraska,” on display in the Membership Medley Exhibit. This exhibit will be on display from Friday, July15th – Saturday, Aug. 20th. I invite you to come and check out the exhibit this Friday, July 15th from 6-9pm, which is happening in conjunction with the 3rd Saturday Art Walk in downtown Roseville.

PCCA Annual Open Studio Tour
Please come out and enjoy the Placer County Community Art Autumn Art Studios Tour. It’s FREE and open to all ages. My studio will be open to the public on Saturday & Sunday (Nov. 14-15th) from 10am-5pm. I will be serving light refreshments. New pieces not yet on the website will be up for viewing. I will be sharing the studio space with, Barbara Reed, a fellow pastel and mixed media artist friend. Many of her animal and south-western pieces will be on display. During the open studio I will be painting and demonstrating my technique for my bold use of color. Meet with the artists’ directly, and have the opportunity to purchase one-of-kind pieces. Make a weekend or day trip out of it, and enjoy all the scenery as you drive all about Placer County.
